Customer Reviews

"I really wanted to love this place. It looked like it should be a great place to eat. The restaurant was nice looking. It was a log cabin look. Very cozy looking. It was super crowded when we went and there really wasn't a place to wait for your table to be ready without being in the way. I had the potato soup. It was okay. Not good or bad. I also had the chicken stripe with green beans. The green beans are good if you add salt. I got a side of white gravy for my strips. The strips had an odd flavor. My husband had the chicken fried steak. It looked fantastic! However, the taste was not right. All you could taste was the oil it was cooked in. The gravy was super bland. Idk if they were off their game as far as food quality because of how busy it was, but it just wasn't doing it for us. Our waitress was super sweet. The sweet tea was good. They were selling art all around the restaurant. The parking lot is gravel. But the location was right near our hotel."

"Great food! I ordered the 16 oz. Steak and a strawberry daiquiri and it was fabulous. The only thing that would be nice to change is the water... it didn't taste very good. But the food, pop, and everything else was great!"

"Early Dinner after long day. In Mena from Oklahoma to hike and enjoy the area Ordered Trout, sweet potato fries, Coleslaw. Rueban Sour Krout sandwich on rye and sweet potatoe fries. All sides were overcooked and underwhelming. Trout was good, Rueban was greasy, meat looked undress and krout cold. Kind attentive Waitress offered to replace the Rueban with a Chessburger and it was cooked as requested and enjoyed. The atmosphere was pleasant and beautiful place. Will try the steak next time in the area."

"Well I do believe I order the wrong thing. I had the 6 oz sirloin, with loaded mashed potatoes and a salad with ranch. I was not a huge fan of the texture of my steak. The flavor was good. I just would not order the steak again. The Reuben sandwich was the best thing at our table. It was really good! My daughter had the grilled shrimp. It had a great flavor. The chopped sirloin was quite tasty as well. We were all happy with our meals. We would eat here agin! My picture are not the best quality, I'm sorry."
